Yes, I spoke with Will @ overkill about what I had intended to put on car at the time and he set the PCM up for my mods. As best as a canned tune would allow. I've got some more goodies going in real soon and will tune them in as well.

JTiger - anyone can do it... Just make a plan and get to it, hehe.

Lol, just some updates... Replaced both my side mirrors as one got clipped and the other lost one range of motion. But I've been stockpiling lots of goodies that'll be going in soon!

    1.9 YT Rollings Rockers
    N* TB
    WB o2
    3" cat back
    SS dual 3.5" tips
Pillar pod (Oil, Volt and ?)
    Fuel Pump Rewire

    HPTuning

Maybe, just might take S/C off and do a little more porting as well. Just going to push things as far as possible without cam and heads. I will do base read with stock PCM 3.8 pulley first and build the tune from scratch, then add mods on (headers staying, lol) and retune, then drop pulleys. Not sure how low I want to go, but will balance things between feel/power/drivability. Have some nice injectors waiting on stand-by too. Stayed tuned!

Ok... Installed Pacesetter Headers last year. My resonator rotted out so I replace it with a Summit Racing 30" Resonator ($30), and while at it I wanted to go 3" to the tails. Next best thing... Being I couldnt find anyone local to custom bend my exhaust, I went with Pacesetter again. Got their Monza Cat-Back exhaust and picked up some dual tips.

Only problem I found is the Catback bend on driver side of the Y pipe is a little off, if I decide to weld them, I'll fix it. For now it's all good.

Just figured you all might like the sound sample. My wife complains when I leave in the morning it wakes her, lolz... I leave at 5:00 am.

Ok, so here's what's been done, what I plan to do and hope to do : )

Done - 1.9 YT Rollings Rockers
    N* TB (on hold)
    Done -WB o2
    Done - 3" cat back
Done - SS dual 3.5" tips
Done - Pillar pod (Volt, Boost & WB) Oil Press to be done later...
    Done - Fuel Pump Rewire
    Done - HPTuning
    Done - Hooker Max-Flow Mufflers
    Done - 30" Resonator
Done - New rubber, same tires, just right size, lol, (245/45-18 Portenza's 970 Pole Position).

Installed the 1.9 Yella Terra's and really like the throttle response and upper end feel, tuned it pretty tight and all has been great. Contrary to popular opinion, I went 3" Catback knowing my mods weren't done. I still have a bigger TB, maf and 80lb injectors sitting there waiting to be used, lol.

I was going to Intercooled with thise items as there was a member here who was selling one at a decent price, but the seller fell though, so on to plan B, lol.

A short time later another member here was selling StageII ZZP heads, so after a thought or two, I figured what the hell, he got the IC $$$ burning a hole in my pocket... But that then leads me to ponder this... to cam, or not to cam! Lol
    : )

OK, so after great thought, I've made decisions and what I'm going to do. Here is the list:

    StageII heads
    Overkill's BBC Cam
    1.7 YT Rolling Rockers
    Rhoads Lifters
    Fuel Logs (maybe)
    80lb injectors...

The North* TB I'll install if I max out, but want to stay @ 3.4 pulley for now. In additional, I still have the GTP Top/Swap I bought for parts mainly as it has a TEP tranny with hard parts ; ) in case I blow my tranny after adding these fine parts, lol. I have other minor things I'm throwing on as well to complement the car such as Goodridge SS lines, etc. on my Fbody brakes. I do still want to do my body work and paint this year, but it may wait, lolz... Oh, and maybe ArrautMotorSports Coilovers for a little drop, currently reaching out to them about MonoTube strut build. We'll see... Anyways...

Looking for thoughts and opinions, but my path is set.

    Thanks in advance...

Overkill Spec cam is ordered and Rhoads Lifters too...

Been looking at making my own Logs, pisses me off because information just isn't out there. Really don't want to pay almost $500 for them, but we shall see.

Got a few weeks of lead time to assemble missing gaskets and such till Cam arrives. So wont be doing anything too soon.

    Stay tuned!

Ok so here's a dilemma I've been contemplating... What to do, what to do.

I have a spare L67 engine laying around... Do I build that engine on stand, unknown miles, unknown treatment, then swap engines... Or do the heads, cam, lifters, rockers on my engine that I know it's been good and no problems while in car?

    Open to thoughts and suggestions.
    thanks

I would build the engine on stands that way you'll have your good motor in case something happens in the future. You'll be replacing quite a few things anyways when you upgrade so you should he able to tell the condition of the motor as you pull it apart.

You could rip the spare engine apart and measure everything, if in spec, throw it back together. If not, sell it for scrap metal.

On the coilovers, did you get that ball rolling already? If not, I know of a good shop that handles the valving in house.

Sorry Matt I wasn't paying attention and missed this post. I'm going to hold on the coilovers for a little while as I concentrate on the engine build. Will definitely want to make it happen as I pile up some finds again, lol : )

hahahaha, and as for the build, I've since picked up a GenV, double roller chain and machined gears/cover just in case I go that route (2x roller). Still don't think I'll need it, but have it now anyways. Will need an adapter now for the N* to GenV too, lol, one thing leads to another, then another...

Also, still on the fence as to 1.7's or 1.8 YT RR's with this cam. I know everyone says stock and I'll probably leave a few HP on the table doing so... Just that old school brain sayin rollers are better. ; )

ok, so added a few things to my pile that'll be going in the build, and I will be building on the spare 3800 I have on the engine stand yearning to be free!
    : )

keeping the 1.9YT rocker engine and stock tranny as backup. Lol

So here's some more of the goodies I've picked up:
    Electric MEZ WP
    Double Roller, machined w/cover
    PAC 105# valve springs
if I can't find used YT1.8's, I'm going to buy em new, decided to go big lift... Lol, wth!
    GenV SC
Will Gasket match the LIM and light port/polish runners

...thats for the engine, still up in the air on coilovers, those can wait.
Leaning more towards getting new front seats, something like these...

    http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Cor...g-Seat/809997/

Stainless brake lines, and thinking about making some custom Helmholtz resonators to stifle a little of the noise on my exhaust around the 1500rpm range, lol, kills the neighbors in the am when I leave (usually 4:45am) hahaha

Wish I had the scratch to throw at a Quaif... Lol, but then again, gives me something to strive for...

seeing as E85 is all the rage lately, I will be using my ID725's once the cam build is running and tuned nicely, then I'll get corn. Screw the IC, lol

    : )

obviuosly posting for comment and suggestions, thanks.

Ordered some of the last parts needed for my build as none have become available (used), ie, 1.8 YT RR's... Looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and making this happen. Still interested in PRJ rails if anyone has em' send me a message. : )
