This here is what I end up driving when I take apart the dirty sloot for whatever reason... It's supposed to be the wife's, but she doesn't really drive anywhere often. Hence why it's barely over 10k miles.

My wife said she didn't like the GP. She said she wanted a new car, specifically a Chrysler 200. So I gave in and got the highest trim level possible, with ALL the amenities...

It's one of only 596 2015 200s that have that color in the C-level trim package. Yay for rare color!
It makes 295 HP to all 4 wheels, bone stock. (AWD is awesome in the snow)
It's got a 9 speed automatic, yes 9 separate gears, and I can hit 45 in first. There is theoretical potential for fast. lol
And I paid well under the asking price.

Her name is Elaine, according to the wife... I call it the other car.

    much appreciated.

It is still the wife's car... I will still drive it, because its there and its fun to drive, but its hers. lol The first time something breaks she's taking it in herself. I'm not dealing with it.

Figured I would update this, since it's gonna be taking up space in my driveway for as long as it can, the wife loves this damn car too much. Lol

    She wants a spoiler:

    I guess... Lol

The car itself is doing good mechanically, trans hasn't had any problems yet, but it's still at 8k.
Changing the oil pissed me off... I refuse to pay 140 bucks to have the dealership change it, when it's still under warranty. So I changed it myself.

After having to put the damn car on a lift just to get enough leverage to loosen the damn oil drain plug...It still had factory sealant on it. 5000 miles, first oil change. What came out was very black and very thin, almost like water...Break-in oil, I'm guessing. So I dropped a 7 dollar K&N oil filter in, poured some Royal Purple in (wife's favorite color, got me some brownie points with that), and it actually picked up a few mpg's.

Speed limiter is higher than 110, that much I know. I'm almost tempted to get an overkill tune for it, just to see what it can do with all 9 gears.

Oh, and she got Jack Skellington floormats the other day. Loves them.

As long as I keep her happy with this, she doesn't complain about how much I spend on the GP. lol

I'm probably going to wait until either the warranty runs out or they stop updating the PCM, whichever comes first. Lol

I have a 2014 Cruze that I could get an Overkill tune done on, but I won't for the same reasons you are waiting. I am sure a tune would make the car a whole different animal.

If I get her one, it'll be easier to convince her that I really truly DO need that inferno hood and quad retrofits... Lol

Always... But if I feel like driving it myself I just break something unimportant on the GP and tell her I need to take it. Lol it's definitely more fun to drive than it should be. And them leather seats are like butter...

So, this is a good example of how driving habits affect fuel efficiency:

While driving this car myself, I get an average of 15 mpg. I tend to use the sport mode and paddle shifters because I find it fun to drive that way. And the exhaust note changes when it switches to sport mode, makes me think either the VVT is computer controlled somehow, or it has some kind of tuning built in by Mopar, but I really won't presume to know for sure...

When my wife drives, she gets an average of 28 mpg, she never uses sport mode and doesn't really get into it. Like, ever.

On another note, the car will not shift into 9th until at least 80 mph. Mildly interesting.

9th gear at 80 mph? that's disappointing. how many people can drive 80 on the freeway very often?

Idk... I can almost hit 80 in second gear with this car, but I think there's limiters set for the range of rpms that each gear can use. If they didn't have limiters and could use The full power band through each gear... There's a theoretical possibility for some insane top speeds. Lol

So the wife just found out about the 3G wifi HotSpot built into the car.

And the U-Connect app that will let her remote start the car with her phone....

    sigh.

At least when we drive it down to the lower 48 after my tour up here, whoever isn't driving will have internet. lol

She changed the oil in this thing herself today, and only asked for my help with the drain plug and oil filter cap, because they were legitimately tight...

I'm gonna get a drop in K&N filter and look at some other upgrades...maybe poly bushings, intake, exhaust and a tune.
