The car popped a "Service AWD" light yesterday, so she's going to drive my car until I get back.

She also found herself a forum for her car, found others with the same issue and also learned quite a bit about her car.

She found a small leak from the rear diff, and that coupled with the PTU issue that is causing the light, she's hesitant to keep driving it.

Here's the link to the thread: http://www.200forums.com/forum/58-20...eel-drive.html

It's covered under the factory warranty, so I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. She just wants to wait until I get back to take it in.

Finally got the car from the dealership, they replaced the viscous coupler and updated the TCU, apparently the factory design viscous coupler stops working at -50° F... Lol.

For those that are curious, the viscous coupler is similar to a torque converter, it locks when the TCS engages via a solenoid, or when the front wheels spin faster than the rear wheels. It's kinda neat...

But it's back in the driveway now and the wife's happy that she has her car. It's about due for an oil change, too.

There's now a screw stuck in her driver's side front tire, and I can't get time off work to fix it. To add to the fail, my car don't wanna start until she's got new battery terminals.

So I'm driving on a screw in the tire until the stupidity at work stops. I'm not gonna get to it until this weekend... Thankfully it kinda holds air. Ish.

Small update, it's been a while...

Intake manifold and oil filter housing cracked, no idea how... Car spent 8 weeks at the dealership waiting on parts.

Winterization cord got f-ed up, that was a ***** and a half to replace.

Finally, the dealership keeps asking if I want to sell the car back to them, offering deals and trades... Apparently they've had a lot of people asking for 200s, but they stopped making them last year.

I'm not even interested, because I know how rare mine is. It's still worth more than what I owe on it, and I have a feeling it's gonna stay that way.

Car is having an issue with keeping the battery charged... I've chased it down to either the terminal connectors consistently coming loose, or the battery is just ****. There's quite a few complaints online about this specific battery, which is shared by the Dodge Dart, some Chargers and Challengers, the Town & Country and some 300s... Basically most of the Mopar cars with the 3.6 V6 or smaller.

If I can get the terminals to stay tight and it continues to drop in volts, I'll be looking for an Optima to replace it.

It's totalled, we're bruised and sore but nothing's broken and no severe injuries.

Sad to see it go, it was a great car...

Guy in front of us slammed on his brakes in bumper to bumper traffic and hit the car in front of him, we didn't have enough time to stop because we had just sped up because the light had just turned green.

    It's been a long week.

The 200 was her dream car, but there's no way we'll be able to find another one just like it.

We're looking at a few different cars, but she doesn't want to get anything that she'll get attached to.

Buy it back and fix it?? Not sure what else got damaged behind the bumper cover but overall doesn't look too bad. Airbag would prob. be the biggest b*tch.

It was all four air bags up front that went off, and the entire structure of the front end was crumpled...

We're looking at a new Malibu, but haven't decided yet.
