Twas a good day for the car. Got that nasty 98 style coolant tank out and got the new one in, layed down my PCM and made more room for my FWI.

I also cleaned up my alt cables, checked out my air bag sensor to find I need a new one from a faulty cowl deflector making my passenger floorboard a swimming pool....

    Wires cleaned up:

    Also the new coolant tank^^

New cowl went together nicely, the old rubber piece wasn't even attached to the car anymore....

    Heres the new piece

And then apparently I stripped the splines on my wipers? Im not sure how.. looks like I need new..

    Last but certainly not least...

This picture does no justice... the corrosion was insane. But ultimately not the issue. need a new sensor

Oh well, over all a good day for the car!!

Went ahead and put on my inlay from Reflective Concept. They look pretty cool

Just before this I got it washed and did a little photo shoot

Don't mind the roof, we had a bad windstorm and it wrecked the shingles... lol anyways

    Paintchips, heres the bumper damage:

Overall I think the car looks great. especially for just over 200k

So I jumped another vehicle since the CS144 upgrade, The other vehicle had no juice at all, connected that chit and and turned it right over, didn't even phase the car

I will say that just a simple power upgrade like that made the driving experience so much more noticeable.

I got my Trans Go in the mail today, I guess Ill install it when it warms up in a awhile. I still need to pick up all the fluid and a new gasket and such. To be honest im dreading it, I just dont wanna find anything when I drop the pan.

Gonna go shopping for some tools so that doing the headers can be as easy as possible... any tips?

Also, got my new switch panel in the mail today, mine kept popping out every time I closed my door

The old one had 2 broken clips and the PO used glue to hold everything together.... which obviously didn't work and just made a mess of glue all over my door panels

I love the way it looks now. The next month or so will be very interesting....

Well yesterday I was driving on the freeway and noticed my DIC and HVAC lights where flickering randomly... I'm guessing its the infamous grounds, I'm not sure why it would come up all of a sudden though.

The last week of April the headers are going in as im gonna be watching a friends house with a shop and lift

Then I can start tuning more aggressively.

So the other day I was driving down the road and noticed a stutter that turned into chugging that turned into power equivalent to a lawn mower. SO i got home and plugged up my tuner and pulled codes: rear 02 sensor and cylinder 1 misfire. So i proceeded to change the sparkglugs and found that the rear plugs were far different from the fronts and appear to have been in there a VERY long time. the arch on #4 plug was completly gone... Shame on me for believing the PO "performed a full tune up" before I bought it, oh well.

So now it has a fresh tune up and runs much much much better.

    Old plugs:

And the back wires just fell apart...

I put in autolite 605s for now, if i need to go cooler down the road i will, Headers go on this week and then its a hunt for rockers and valve springs!

Got a killer deal on a 5 channel amp the other day and installed it and I love it! the sound overall i much better.

I used 4 gauge power and ground wire and audiophile component cables. I try very hard to make everything look as professional as I can because I'm OCD like that lol.

And with my CS144 the lights don't dim at all, so I'm pretty happy with it.

And my buddy picked up a nice Cherokee yesterday so he brought it over to clean it up!
And of course I'm going to help him put some sound in that thing!

Mine is very difficult to find around my neck of the woods, people either keep their 2door GP's or sell them, very few make it to the JY.
