Figured I might as well get on here and say whatsup. I'm Mike. I'm an auto tech, currently employed by Ford. Gotta learn what I'll be fixing all the time. Recently relocated to southern PA, from Colorado. Family had a 00 GTP when I was younger, and I recently bought my own. Car is a 99, 183k on it currently, got it with 177k. And roughly 4k on road trips since I got it. Bought from Tony in Michigan, drove home to CO, then a month later moved to PA.
I'm new to fwd cars, but not the 3.8 motors. First car was a 00 Camaro 3.8, that I bought with 100k, and got totalled with 165k 5 years later. :'( I miss my car, lol. Learned a ton, and hurt aloooooot of feelers with that car. Was a L26 swap, 10:1, ST5 cam, valvetrain, fuel system blah blah blah spinny muffler 480whp daily driven car. I feel lost without her...
New car is exactly how I bought it. Just your every day cornfed family coupe. Getting the tune down on E85, then going to find a dyno around here...
Anyways, looking forward to new people and ****, and helping when I can.
