So I have had my grand prix forever now and have had title issues so needless to say I haven't got to drive it but I'm getting all the legalities cleared hopefully soon and I was just wondering what things should I do I mean list everything all gaskets I should replace fluids I should do ect. the reason I say this is because I love my car but I am already starting to have some gasket problems such as smoke and burning oil smell coming from the rear of the engine bay and the bottom of my oil pan is wet people keep telling me its a pos and I keep denying it I just want to know everything I should do to bring her back to good health and what kind of money I should look at putting aside I bought it when I was young it only has 80,000 miles and I got it for $3,900 but it was literally the perfect car to me I wanted a fully loaded 2000 gtp with digital dual climate control and bronzemist metallic and I somehow found this one thought it was a blessing but now I am scared wondering if maybe I made the wrong choice buying it so thanks I just really wanna know how to get her back to good health and the price that will follow

Sound like oil pan gasket. Replace your lower intake manifold gaskets. Plugs wires oil and coolant.

Gaskets are basically maintenance, that doesn't make it a pos every car needs them done eventually .. It sounds like valve cover gaskets, lim gasket and oil pan gasket there not that hard
