    How do you set the back seats of a 1999 grand prix gtp down?

    97-03 only have that middle pass through.

    You could upgrade to 2004-2008 seats.
    2000 Bronze Metallic GTP
    Power :Gen V, 3.6 pulley, 3 inch down pipe, Power log, FWI,and DHP Power Tuner,
    Handling: Vogtland Springs, GMPP sway bars, STBS, 18" Konig backbone, CTS-V Front brakes and GXP rear brakes

    After you take the stock "back rest" part of the seat out, the piece behind it is still there which still only has a middle pass through.

    Unless there is a way to unbolt that from the car.

    Does your car have the metal bracing behind the pass thru?
    I thought it was only a 97-98 thing I've seen 99's and 01 & 02's that don't have it.
    For most it's a matter of taking a blade and opening up the material on both side for full passthru after the 04+ swap.

    my 98 regal, i put 01 seats in, ( 60/40 split) and the metal is already nice and wide, just the padding needed to be trimmed to the full opening.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW
