Hey guys first time posting in these forums and I got a a few problems with my grand prix but I'll just focus on these two.

I'm pretty new to automotive maintenance and repair but would like more experience but, I just recently did a coolant flush and replaced my coolant elbows and valve cover gaskets on my 04 grand prix.

I drove for a couple days and seen I had more leaks then I had originally!

I'll attach an image of where the coolant or Oil ( I'm pretty sure its coolant ) is at.

So is this the intake manifold gasket going bad after I drained my coolant and ran water for an hour then drained the water and put the new coolant in?

Next question is, I noticed a pretty loud vacuum noise and noticed this hose disconnected, I seen it was in really bad condition so it wouldn't stay attached is this the PCV valve hose? if so where can I get a new one at? I called O'reilly and advanced auto and they don't even carry them.

I did call a junk yard and they had it but they never followed up with a phone call.

    Thanks for your time guys.

cant really see the puddle in the manifold valley. clean it up good see if the puddles come back.

that vac hose off the blower needs to be hooked up. im sure you can rig something up with all the many vac line parts at advance auto, if you got one local. they got a whole wall devoted to vac line crap there.

Hey scottydoggs, Thanks for the fast reply!

I just cleaned the manifold valley good a few times and it kept returning.

When I had cleaned it this time it appeared to be coolant colored, but I do remember a time when I cleaned it and I had sworn it was a darker tint.

I'm going to clean it off tomorrow when I'm back from home and report back to you. But I'm sure it's going to return again.

and the vacuum hose I actually had put back on the pcv valve nipple a while back ( assuming that's what it is a pcv valve ) I forgot to say I hooked the hose back up but it was in rough condition so I taped it with electrical tape for now, I'm going to check at autozone and buy a kit they have a try to rig something up.

Thanks again for the swift reply I appreciate it.

autozone will let you down, advanced auto has the best selection of vac line parts you'll find any where this side of the internet. i dont have o'reilly's but i hear they got a good selection too.

that pooling in the lim is not necessarily an emergency, its coolant seeping past the bolt threads. from what i can see in the pics you seem to have a black gasket between the head and lim. meaning its plastic and should be replaced. when you do change the gaskets you want to clean the bolts good of all old sealant, and apply new thread sealant when you install the lim again.
