Before buying the tilting kit, I would want to see some drawings and measurements of where the arc is produced. Rumor has it that the tilting kits are no more because they were unreliable.

    I want hard dimensions!

Oh, and "Bi-Xenon" means TWO bulbs, not a tilting single bulb. They need to get their nomenclature corrected...

    "Bi-Xenon" =/= Tilting 9007-3...

Ok guys and gals, I just got an email back from David and there was a communication gap.

The price is as listed and INCLUDES shipping. The only difference is that these are the telescopic BiXenon, not the tilting. I have fixed the post to include the change. If your still in, please post up after this post.

    SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION.

It is a good write up, I can copy and paste everything over to here cause my work IP isn't banned, but only if it's ok with BackNBlack.

Basically stay away from the bixenon kit... telescopic sucks... and a few other wiring and modifications that might be needed...

If the group buy picks up here, I will not be on the internet again until monday, so I can send paypal then... just letting you know.

Folks, If you cannot read the thread in ClubGP, I'll provide a summery:

    - VVME does not walk the talk. While they claim warranty, they do not honor it. They sent me a telescopic kit when I specifically ordered and documented a tilting kit. When questioned the canned reply was "send it back for to check out if it works" and pay something like $30+ dollars in handling to process your return. this went on for several weeks and kept repeating. Their warranty simply is that you cannot afford to return it. Multiple emails became circular. BTW, the $$$ return handling charge is not specific to VVME, other HID EBayers do it. The reality is, do not plan on any warranty with them that you can make a claim against without spending significant additional $$...in my book that equal no warranty.

    - 9007-3 telescopic is a 9003 lamp assm fitted to a 9007 base. Translation: the placement of the lamp arc is incorrect and you will have bright lights that blind oncoming cars, but no beam that you can direct. Low beam is bad, high is a flood lamp. BTW, as best as documented, this applies to all the current 9007 telescopic lamp. Simply put, the only lamp motion that can place the light source to the specifications to a 9007 or 9004 is a tilting unit.

Now you have been warned, purchase at you own risk(s). It would be difficult to locate the clubgp info here as there are 4 pages of information include images of 9007 lamp specification, beam shots and modification results.

Guys I agree. While I dont like the "Bi-Xenon" option, the others are good and a fair price, the only problem is you wont have High beams, but hey, you can get fogs for 67 shipped so that still a good deal.

As I said before, I waited till I had confirmation about the "Bi Xenon" before I posted, and as luck would have it, as soon as I posted I get another email saying they made a mistake.

Is it true that the 880 HIDs will melt the stock fog housing?
