Hey guys, I am looking for someone who can tune my pcm for e85. I am currently going to use method Tim from zzp suggested, 42# injectors, Casper hotwire, Voltage booster along with 4ga power wire from alternator, high flow filter. I am going to mix 50/50 93/e85 on this setup. But next month I am going to cough up for the aem e85 pump and I would like to have a specific tune to run full e85 at that time. I have several pcms laying around that I could ship out to someone willing to help. Thanks in advance.

you are gonna out flow the 42's once you go full corn. gonna need 60's at min. so get all your parts in order and just do it once.

Already purchased 42's and before mentioned things. I did get them at a very decent price so I left myself room to upgrade to 60's without taking a huge hit by buying injectors twice. I don't plan on running below a 3.4 pulley on the 42's. My intensions are eventually go with an intercooler setup and a 3.2 on full corn. I feel like my 112k trans will bite it about then tho. No symptoms of a bad trans yet but I haven't ever "not" had to rebuild a 4t65

you can push that pulley to a 2.8 asap on e85 and a ic. any smaller and you need to mill the blower snout.

So maybe you can sorta tell me if my setup is going to halfass work, will the 50/50 corn mix support a 3.4 with no kr? My current mod list is u bend delete, plog, intake, digital horsepower tune. I see up to 3* of kr at the top of second this kr goes away in 3rd, also no kr on downshifts and only blips of less than 1* on launch. My new "used" dog done seem to have worn bushings so maybe in getting some false kr too. But I know false kr is seen in spikes and my kr in second climbs with rpm to almost 3*

Again... 42.5s and 3.4 runs E85 just fine...

Also Rlugo, I have a brand new 320lph AEM E85 pump I can give you a deal on. I didn't like how it fit my 05 canister so I got an 05+ specific one.

I will definitely be in touch on that, I blew my whole wad this week on car stuff. I budget my build around being able to spend one paycheck per month on cars or car related stuff. This gives me about 700 per month I can have fun with. I got burned by a guy on fb on a snout and zzp hub. He last minute forgot his PayPal password asked me to Walmart him the cash and has since not responded, lesson of the day is PayPal only and shell out the fees for goods or service. I'm going to give this dude the opportunity to respond to me by Monday if not I will definitely be exposing him on FB and here just in case you guys cruise the 3800 marketplace on fb.

42# injectors will support down to a 3.2 pulley on e85, so you'll be good.

I'm a little confused as to what Tim is selling you though. If you stick the 42# injectors in and fill up with e85, you technically don't need a tune. You also don't have to mess with mixing gas and e85 either.

42 are done on corn with a stock pulley. if you tune them your maxed out. ive seen this 3 times so far, you need 60's.

that 42 install is for untuned stock.

Then how do we run smaller pulleys with 42's?

    Stock injectors work on e85....

on gas they are fine. like i said, seen em maxed out asap as soon as you tune them for corn.

no tune, no mods but corn and they work ok.

i maxed out my stock injectors on gas, why i have 42's now. so how the hell you running modded with corn on stock crap injectors???? oh thats right, your not.

I ran 42's on e85 and a 3.4 pulley for a good year. I still had plenty of injector left.

It's been done. At 85-90 idc, there is a lot of fuel left yet.

I recommend to everyone that mods their grand prix to buy an HP Tuner. it is simple to tune for E85 with it, and really is necessary because you never know what's going on without it. Just buy a new pro version so when you get a wideband it's easy to add to the tuning. 679 from summitracing and free shipping, or you can get it from intenseracing.

He is saying if I run straight e85 I will kill my pump asap. He agreed the 42's on a stock tune would work. If course this all could be an upsale.

another zzp lie. stock pump goes a lot further then you think. but the hi flow pumps sure are nice to get down the road. all depends on how far you push things.

it rained here last night, just yesterday i finally got my tune set up for real 50/50 meth, went food shopping and didnt even floor it and it busted the wheels free at 60 mph, wet roads of course, all i did was give it enough gas to pull out and pass the guy a head of me, never made it past him. its never done that before. from a stop on wet roads, theres no more being in a hurry, cant even take off if you give it more then say 10% throttle. then once moving on local streets 25 mph ish any extra pedal made them spin with way to much ease. cant wait for dry roads, maybe i can find one of them wrx things while im out lol
