So I just installed the Transgo shift kit along with a cooler and a bunch of braided steel line, everything went great except now I'm getting a lot of KR (6*). before the shift kit I didn't get any KR and now I get between 3-6* at 2/3-3/4 throttle. I'm running the stock pulley with SD headers, 2 1/2'' exhaust all the way out back, ported intake and SC, autolite 104's, FWI, and Reptile ECM. any ideas as to what this could be??

    Thanks
    Steve

No idea. I doubt it's anything related to you touching the transmission.

How old are your plugs? Copper plugs need to be changed every 10-15k depending abuse if I remember correctly.

Plugs have 150 miles on them, I change them every 5000 miles when I change the oil. I put my data logger (brother) in the passenger seat to watch the aeroforce and it turns out the KR only happens when it's shifting, it quickly goes away after the shift.

If the shifts are real hard something could be hitting, headers?

How do you like the shift kit firmness? Did your pcm tune also increase the shift firmness? I was thinking about installing a shift kit with my next tranny service.

I didn't get to drive the car much before the tune because the supercharger needed rebuilding when I got the car, so I did all the the modifications at once when I rebuilt the M90. The shift kit made a huge difference in the way the car feels/drives, the torque feels instantaneous and the kick down when you go to WOT feels the same way. The big ass cooler I installed also made a big difference in trans temp, before I was seeing up to 208* on the Aeroforce for trans temp, now in stop and go traffic on a hot day I might see 180*.
