My 04 GP GT2, 70k, has recently been getting bad gas mileage(down 80 miles on a tank) and it idles at 600-ish when it normal idled at high 800s. I notice a jerky acceleration at 0-25-ish and it seems to feel better at 55+. The computer is throwing a low voltage on the second knock sensor code, P0332. I have since replaced the sensor(I believe I got it down to 14 lbs, it was hard to access) and I have gotten the code again since clearing it. Any idea what could be wrong with my car?

Im going to check out the knock sensor and try to run some seafoam through the engine later this week.

check the knock sensors wires, they clip on to the bottom of the power steering pump. if the pump was changed maybe they got damaged or pulled on and broke. worth a look.

Would a knock sensor cause all of these issues though? I am hoping the seafoam cleans out the injectors and the rest of the engine. Is it best to run the seafoam into the break booster line, Im not SC. I also just filled up, hoping it was just a bad tank of gas.

well your under 100,000 miles so a tune up seem like its early still. (but cant hurt) and then theres always the chance of a clogged cat, or a clogged fuel filter.

low voltage usually mean its not getting full power. or the sensor is bad. you changed it, so id look at the wires. if you have a open cone air filter and the pcm is laying on the frame, check the wire to and from it as well for damage.

Sometimes when I turn my car on it idles normally(800-900) and other times it idles rough(600).
