I went to my exhaust shop and was quoted < 500$ for the following:

    1 - 2.5" Downpipe
    U - Bend Deleted
    1 - Magnaflow Highfloow Catback
    Labor

He told me this is a better idea than just doing my mufflers and it will give me a lot more performance.

Is this true? Should I go ahead with this?

    Thanks

    not really.

stock is rumoured to be quite good...

Also the magnaflow catback for under 700 to your door? where?

You can just buy a bolt in DP with the ubend delete and see the same gain for half that... which would be minimal. Catback has no major restrictions till you get up to roughly 400whp.

pending on what you want to do with the car you can pick up a zzp 3 inch downpipe with or without the cat, or pick up a set of ebay headers. my car is turbo and i still run the stock catback

    ZZ Performance

Buy one of those. You will see the same gains you would with the $500. Get some sockets and do it in the driveway.

hook a scanner up to your obd2 port under the drivers side kick panel aboce the pedals, you will see it.

If you have a orilleys or autozone around you they can hook the scanner up and see what code the computer sent out to turn the SES on.

Get teh code then google it to find out what it is and how to fix it or post it up here and we can help you out.

    Not in Ontario haha...

If you're near the Durham region I'll scan it for free for you.

If not, might have to ask around to see if anyone does it for free.

How did you supercharger "go"? It seems very unlikely that your supercharger is just bad all the sudden.
