    Hey Guys;

    Having an odd problem with my 2007 GT, about 65,000 miles.

    The car is stalling on me with no real warning, it will just turn itself off while I am driving it.
    The DIC tells me;

    Starting Disabled due to electronic throttle control.

    I have to bring the car to a stop, put it in park, take out the key, open the door, and now it will start up.

    It has done this to me 3 times over the past 2 days.

    I have done some research, but have found nothing yet.

    My car is stock, stock air filter, Optima Battery(2-3 months old).

    I did get it scanned at Oreilly's, it's hard to read the handwriting though.
    It's either PO147 or PO141;
    O2 Sensor Heater Circuit, Bank 1 Sensor 2.
    Also; When I had it scanned, there was no check engine light coming on.
    After the car stalled on me last night, now the check engine light is solid.

    Should I get it scanned again?

    I am thinking TPS, or Mass Air Flow, I dunno what else controls the throttle.

    Any ideas? Head to Dealership?

    Update;

    I have not been driving the car since this last post. I took it today and went to autozone to get the codes read, since I had a solid check engine light.
    It did not die on me, I did not have any trouble at all.

    I took the throttle body off.
    When I broke loose one of the bottom bolts on the throttle body, about one cup of fluid came out. The fluid was clear, and hit the hot exhaust under the throttle body, so I assume it was just water.

    I have a replacement aka used PCM, and throttle body I got from an online salvage yard.
    The total for these 2 items was 120 bucks.
    I dunno if my throttle body is bad, but I cleaned it up, and will hang onto it, same with the orginal PCM.

    I am doing the security relearn, and from there I will see if the stalling problem is fixed.
    I will update this post either way.

    Picture of my original throttle body below, about 65,000 Miles.

    if fluid came out then its probebly from the coolant system...first make sure its not the gasket at the throttle body. i can see from your pic that it has a cooland passage built in...if it is then your getting coolant sucked into the engine which will cause the vehicle to stall second add some radiator fluid as if it came out clear then its too diluted and needs to have coolant added. also if it is clear then u have obviously had coolant loss problems for a while as someone kept adding water..check your oil for film just in case. if u see white stuff then its time for some new gaskets in the lim. dont know if these are your only problems but they are a good place to start

    are you going to use a new MAF sensor? that may cause your stalling problem, so if it persists, unplug the MAF and see if that helps, if all else fails it could be a CPS

    but with all these throttle codes even a TPS maybe? one step at a time, do what you are gonna do and keep us updated

    As far as I can tell, this problem is fixed, I have not had one single issue since replacing the pcm and throttle body.

    Replacing the PCM also fixed two other problems.
    1.) Airbag light coming on at random times.
    2.) Brand new TPMS sensors not being recognized.

    I went to see my dealership about swapping out my bad throttle body, for a brand new one, since it is covered under the100k powertrain warranty. The throttle body retails for 380$ new. The service manager said no problem, and I left with a brand new throttle body, giving him my original one. He also said to bring it back to us sometime, and we will put it on for you.

    He would have done it today, but I had them focused on an alignment, which fixed my crooked steering wheel, he said the Toe was way out.

    I may be able to get a new PCM too; It's covered under the 80,000 mile emissions warranty.
    I will try to do that later on, since the dealership will need to install that part.

    As far as having a TPS, I am not yet convinced my car has one. TPS does not show up at any parts stores. There is a large black box on the side of the throttle body, it's an electric motor that turns the butteryfly valve.(see picture).
