    Hi all,
I'm a bit confused of this mod. Hope you guys could clear this up for me. What is the best procedure for doing this mod? I've read online that any pulley puller is not going to work and cause damage to the SC. I've seen videos and seem to be easy to pull off the pulley that was pressed on by a 10ton machine.
Would like to hear anyone who used a pulley puller successfully or not.
    thanks,
    Jamster00

Do you have supporting mods for the pulley you are putting on? If not then I would say don't even change the pulley yet. A smaller pulley doesn't always mean a faster car. As for the puller they work great. You just either have to rent one or fork out the cash for one...and it has to be the special pulley puller tool...not a typical one you can rent from your auto parts store...they can get the pulley off but it either ends up damaging the snout, the pulley you take off, or the tool.

So far I've installed an SLP CAI, 180tstat, custom catback exhaust. I'm now looking into a PCM and eyeing on a 3.5 or 3.4" pulley. Which pulley are you referring to? Was it a simple task?
    thanks,

Don't. You don't have enough flow mods to drop a pulley size.
