Hello, cobbling together new fuel lines on a 2002 SE 3100 LG8 to replace the completely rotted originals and wanted to know, since I never had occasion to learn this on my own all these years, if the vapor line is under anywhere near the same high pressure as the feed-- and to a lesser extent, return-- lines, or if it can be safely spliced back together with regular 5/16 EFI hose & clamps, or possibly even regular 5/16 fuel hose in an emergency. Thanks in advance...

Not 100% on this, but I’m pretty sure evap lines are under either very low pressure, or (most of the time) vacuum.

I don’t think they see very high numbers either way, so I don’t see using fuel injection hose as a problem. That injection hose can handle like 60-65psi or more.
