    So i was given a grand prix in almost perfect condition...just some wiring work.

    I had it parked for about a month, and in that time I guess some mice must have gotten into the wiring because it won't start now.

    Turning the key only turns things on if I have a battery charger on. Without it there is no electricity in the system, even though the battery is good.

    when I try to start it, the fans come on and stay on, and the starter repeatedly clicks instead of just clicking once.

    Does anyone know where I should look for the wiring damage?

    Still kinda sounds like a junk/dead battery though.

    You could try jumping the starter aswell to see if it will turn over.

    Otherwise you are checking fuses and power to certains things and trace wires.

    corrosion at the battery terminals, the lead inserts in the battery side posts can be broken off and still look intact. but usually corrosion between the terminal and battery/bolt as well as at the strands

    Check the voltage with a meter, then turn the ignition switch to run (not start) and see how much the voltage starts. I have had batteries that show 12.7V but we're so bad when you connected even a meter the voltage would drop to 4-5V. Cleaning the battery terminals is a great idea as well I can't tell you how many times I have seen terminals that look perfect but there's no actual connection between the terminal and battery.
    An engine is an engine no matter the size.... I think Dr. Seuss said that... or maybe it was Big Weld....
