im coming to terms that im going to need another built trans......so i might as well make as much power as i can. so should i run E85 though? i know i need 80# injectors a pump rewire and a tune...all doable and i need a station near me, theres one a few miles away from my house so check that off i guess my concerns are will this gum up my fuel line and rail? is it worth the power gains? my biggest fear is running out of fuel and not having a E85 station around me. i never have more then half a tank of fuel at a time for weight reduction so should i carry a reserve tank or something? that would definitely be a day ruin er if i ran out of gas lol

You can run 65's with e85.

You'll need to have it custom tuned to change everything with running e85.

    Run E85.

Just keep a spare tank like you said if your always low on fuel, or if your going to travel long distance, fill up before hand.

Go for it. I also want to run e85 on mine eventually too. If you do go e85 make sure you start a thread about it. It's not done a whole lot and others who are thinking of doing it could defiantly learn from it. I'd go with 80# injectors if you haven't bought anything else already. I wouldn't worry too much about the fuel rail being gummed up. I would worry about the lines being eatten away at tho had a buddy run it on his 350z that had problems. I'd go with staineless steel and teflon coated for anything that has to be rubber.

What cam? I doubt you will need 80s. I have them right now and they are kinda of a pain. But yes you should do E85.

I hope you are not serious about the weight reduction. Unless you are at the track it is really not going to matter.

Most people will keep a spare PCM in the car that is setup for regular gas. That way if you get in a spot and you are super low you can swap it out and drive on regular gas taking it easy.

i plan on doing XP cam with 105# springs on stock heads, yes im serious about the weight thing the difference between a full tank and a 1/4 tank is 100 pounds of weight, on the street you never know when your gonna need to race you should always be ready

matt i might be agreeing with you...
