Just had to order a new hub assembly. Started getting louder and louder around 55-60. Take a hard left curve and the sound goes away, once it puts load back on the right, the harmonic sound comes back. Ugh.

Wheel bearings are part of W body life. Literally

Everytime my buddy and I buy one to flip....we end up doing both front bearings because you know they are shot.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Well, I’m sitting here waiting on usps to deliver it. Taking the old one off, is it always a pita to remove? I got the four bolts out, but will not come off!

Got it off. Now just waiting on usps for the new one.

I did get the front lca’s and front brakes done. So that’s out of the way.

sometimes you need a BFH to bust em free. same goes for the axle splines. they need a tap to break em free sometimes.

make sure you tq that axle nut to 116 iirc hub might have a tag stating the tq spec.

It’s the rear hub assembly. I must have not mentioned that. Fronts are all good. Rear right had a bit of play and was audibly failing as well.

It’s all done now. Nice and quiet. Need to bleed brakes again. Stops much better but a tiny bit too much pedal for my liking. And wow, control arms made a huge difference. Oh, and here’s what it’s lowered on, not sure the brand springs but bumpstops are cut, strut had a label on the side that said struttek or something along those lines.

Rides so much more firm with the new control arms, and brakes are squeaky and rattling as I go down the road.

Only way to do it. Weekends are the best here. And when we go on 24hr schedule, I take graves, so it’s nice and quiet.
