I know on my car there actually is no sensors in the tire and the tmps warning is more like a change oil reminder and just needs to be reset in the dash when it goes off. (and obviously listen to the reminder and fill the tires lol) could be different on your car though

dont get me wrong, im not trashing every shop left out there, there are some good ones out there. like the guy i got across the st from me. his lot is full all the time, theres nothing they wont do, engine and tranny swaps are done there, if they do that they do it all. hes even renting parking from the guy 2 doors down cause hes out of room on his lot. hes helped me out for no reason other then i asked him for help with small crap like using his snap on scanner, or ohm ing out the chip in my key for me. did have him do my brake lines, in and out the next day. and got phone calls when things didnt look like they were going right and what his plan of attack was... thinking i need to drop the regal off to get its ac fixed over there next. if i dont sell it first lol
yea I feel you ill never go to pep boys again most expensive prices on parts and they hire "technicians" who do alignments with the headlights shining on the alignment rack and 1 degree of difference from left to right is "in spec" and they have to tell you they're technicians for you to believe it. shoot I could be a technician at pep boys lol. moral of the story don't get a 3 year warranty alignment. cut my loses and went to tuffy been solid since

When I got the car back yesterday (and I should have done this right at his auto shop but just wanted to get out of there) the first thing I did was open the hood to see what he did.The first thing I noticed was a missing cover. Not sure whats its called but it goes over the top of the engine and has the "3800" imprinted on it. Is this important enough to get back from him? I would imagine it protects the car from moisture if rain gets under the hood, but if I am trading this car in, should I even bother?

I've never had a cover on my engine bought mine without it and didn't even realize there was one till I seen other people with them lol. but I would lowkey have them reimburse you for it have him give you like $50 haha. I don't know how a car sales man sees it but if your selling on craigslist or something that shouldn't be a problem not having it. in fact I feel that the cover would create more moisture and dirt as it would trap it in just my opinion though.

It is for looks only. I have mine removed at this time. You should go get it back from him. It is not his decision to remove it. If he felt it was such a pain in his ass, he should have at least put it in the trunk and told you.

Last Thursday I was driving home and I literally lost control of the wheel many times on route 80 about 5 times. Took it back and he redid the alignment and did a wheel rotation all free. Fingers crossed its been good ever since then.
