    After chasing this problem for the past five years, the wait is over. Installing GM rear subframe bushings solved the problem. The clunking noise at the floor board is gone. I can now stop and start without the usual crackling noise.

    Awesome! My rear mounts were bad too! Did you go with OEM or Dormans?

    Dorman does not make these bushings for the rear only the front ones. You can only get these bushings from GM. I paid about $180 for complete set.

    Kinda interested though. Do you happen to have a link or part number, or picture of the box it came in? A picture of the packaging would be best.

    $180 is half the cost of the last GTP I bought LOL.

    I bought upper and lower rubber inserts, new bolt, metal retainer.

    I have a new GM OEM set from a Regal in case anyone is interested. I have to dig them out of my parts bin. If anyone is interested, let me know so I can look.

    Only the upper insulator came in a GM Box. All others were packaged in a plastic bag with a GM label.
