I have a 2008 GP and few weeks ago when I turn off my car the headlight still remained on. I tried turning it off from the switch but that didn't work. Put the key back in the ignition and toggled it to the ACC and off position and after few times it turned off. Just today it happened again, did the same solution but didn't work. I locked and unlocked the door with the FOB and it eventually turned off. Can it be a fuse issue? I read somewhere that someone replaced the HDM low beam relay that is in slot #35 and that worked. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Sounds like how a stuck relay would act.

Might be your best bet to replace the $35/#35 fuse

It's funny I changed the same relay switch maybe a year ago but for not having headlights at all. I used a knockoff brand maybe that's why.

I had a look and sure enough the part was replaced, I no longer have the part number on the fuse as I replaced it with a noname one. Can someone give me the number on the fuse. Is it this one?

It could be as simple as a setting in the trip computer. I have an option to have my exterior lights stay on when you turn your car off for a selected amount of time. (15, 30, 90 seconds)

No because it doesn't happen all the time and normally it turns off right away. I will change the part and see what happens.

Definitely sounds like a stuck HDM relay. Its just stuck the opposite of how others decide to stick.

I've had my hid harness get corrosion where the relay plugs in and cause this, had to replace the harness. After it happening a few years in a row I spent the money and got them from theretrofitsource and haven't had an issue since.
