Are the LS4 cooling fans larger than the L67? I would assume but would like to know for sure

From looking into it just a little bit they seem to be roughly the same size. You gotta remember the car is not any larger so the radiator is not any bigger and it's still a dual fan setup with just a slimmer design for the V8.

Both seem to be around that 14-15in fan blades.

If you are looking for improvements to your cooling system, consider getting some cooling system additive (Water Wetter, Super Coolant).
You will want to research comparison testing to find which one will best address the area you are looking at cooling best (engine idle temps in traffic, cruising temps, high rpm for extended times, etc...).
In my 2000 Silverado 2500 6.0 I used Hyper-Lube Super Coolant from Wal-Mart as it targeted my engine idle temps keeping them down, which is where my truck had a problem spiking temps up in the 215-223* range, which caused my valve seals to get hottest and leak (aka burning oil). After adding the Hyper-Lube Super Coolant my truck now idles around 198-210* (on 90-95* days) and that has drastically cut down on the oil burning/consumption.
Of course a better fan will help, but if you aren't needing that much help, a $7-20 bottle of additive may help.

Since I'm putting a new motor in my 02 MCSS I was considering picking up a new radiator for an older Lumina but I think I'm going to play with some additives first to see how they help.
Also, going to be adding a bottle of Hyper-Lube Super Coolant to my FSIC system as well.

Do this! I did this in my Intercooler coolant it too. Keeps my temps at tstat temp all the time, no fluctuations at idle in traffic either, well maybe a few degrees but nothing like it was without it.
