Nope. It'd delay me even further and I'm tired of waiting. Besides that, I'm not one for a lot of bling, even in the engine bay. I just want it to be clean, not necessarily shiny.

Raising this thread up from hibernation.... going to look at an 05 MC SS today... after having looked at a different one yesterday. I just need to choose between the two... they're almost identical, accept for the mileage and color.... one is laser blue, the other is the silverstone grey with the silvermist ground efects.

w00t! ... though i will be gettin rid of my '99 regal GS to make room... but hey it's had a good life, 200K miles on the clock!

Okay - I'm in. I followed silverbullit here from montecarloforum.com in a quest to find those awesome roof rails that I am so jealous of. My car must have them.

I have a '04 Dale Jr. Signature edition Supercharged SS. It's been customized though

Owner of a 1998 monte carlo Z34. Its my first car, bought it from a buddy i played football with for 1,000$ (he had to get rid of it because of tickets/insurance). Had a lot of body work to be done (Door dent, Gas tank rust (not bad), dent in the top rear right (weird area) surface rust on the passenger rear wheel well, and i had to replace both fenders (rust and dents) and the bumper. Shes all bondo'd up now and i should be painting it next week (pics soon). I must say I love my car, I work full time and go to school full time (local city college (cleveland state) and shes been great, handled the cleveland winter well, and i have had 0 mechanical issues (knocks on wood).

While i got my fello MC guys reading, are you guys somewhat disappointed with the 2000-2005 models performance? I mean a 3.8 v6 is a decent sized engine, but i feel as though they could have given it more than 200 HP. Has anyone here modded their's? Just wondering what the power gains are like, my next car will likely be a GTP though, the super charger is a big plus, i know the monte c comes with a SC (2004-2005) but they are rare/expensive/hard to find.
