I am new to the site and have a 2005 9C1 police package Impala with 99k miles on it. I am unsure of the performance that it has. I can barely break the tires loose and my buddy has a 1995 bonneville with double the miles and he can stay right with me. According to GM the 9C1 Impalas have 3.29 gears and a standard LS Impala's have 3.05 gears. With that said I see plenty of Impala LS's and Grand Prix's just roast the tires! I did a 0-60 test and it's not impressive at all. Shouldn't my 9C1 be faster???

Also I would like to put dual exhaust on it and wondered if I should go with GMPP or an aftermarket set up? Which would be better and cost effective?
    Thanks

go with whatever is cheapest...........your friend must have an awesome condition bonneville to keep up with you. Either that or your full size spare and your cow catcher on the front weigh so much it is slowing you down. You might be due for a tune up or your cat may be plugged. Maybe you have sticky tires..........keep looking for a solution and let us know what you find.......
