I really want headers i bet they sound great, were they a pain in the but to put on? they seem like they would be. i quite like my zzp pcm shipping was fast and the price is good. How do you know you have knock, are you seeing KR or can u feel or hear it? as far as i can tell mine doesnt have any but id have to read my KR data to be sure.

to find out if you have KR, the cheapest way I know of is with a Android cell phone, OBD 2 bluetooth adapter for the car and the Torque Pro app for the cell phone. $30 for everything provided you have a Android cell phone

Headers were pretty easy install . I'm running the Pacesetter ceramic there really nice and use large primaries. I have Aeroforce gauge so I can see knock at all times there's huge difference when the car is cold compared to warmed up a little cold no knock...warmed up bit got knock and can feel big difference in power. I'm not sure which pcm i'd like to run I need to delete rear o2 code , been looking at the ZZP and Intense one

I've heard many negative things about the black painted ones but never really about the ceramic coated , I think they fit perfect and I had no issues with leaking everything lined up great. I know the black painted ones had problems with leaking at crossover and fitment issues...I have seen the o2 simulators ZZP offers just was thinking might save the 50 if I can get code shut off instead. Any Grand Prix meets out here ? I want to go to Castrol Dragway for a Friday night event and try out few runs see how my car does

who did you get them from? zzp sells somewhat modified pacesetter headers they say theyre "
Pro-kit includes a ZZP plug and play O2 extension, upgraded flange gasket, O2 bung plug, and matched piping for better sealing. Well worth the money, it will save you a lot of time and reduce the chance of electrical issues or exhaust leaks." those are the ones im thinking of getting i love zzp i get all my stuff from them. as for the computer if they can delete po128 for coolant flow im sure they can delete the o2 sensor codes just write them a not when you go to buy it. i havent heard of any grandprix meets but that would be awesome! i love castrol i wanna take my grandprix and put it up against my parents 2007 trailblazer SS im pretty sure il loose but i want to see how bad

lol thanks im an apprentice mechanic so i have access to scanners but im having no luck gettting them to loan it to me for a weekend. i had a chance to buy a GM TECH2 which is what the dealerships use for a good price theyre by far THE best scanner you can buy (IMHO) ofcourse theyre limited to GM vehicles but oh well thats all i drive. anyways i didnt buy it but i really wish i had.

The ones on ZZP website are the black painted ones...I got mine through one of my parts guys. I didn't have to get anything extra with them as they sealed great and had no issues with fitment but mine are the more expensive ceramic coated. I'm planning on going turbo so if your gonna be looking for headers i'll be selling mine shortly as they wont work with the new setup. I've had them on for about month. I purchase parts from both ZZP and Intense figured I'd try to spread the support around a bit.

oh hells ya im really tight on cash right now but id love to take then off your hands if the timing is right! i would love nothing more to turbo my gtp but its my daily driver and thats very expensive and my car would be down to long but maybe one day. i wish a company would design their own supercharger for grandprixs instead of taking eatons and modifying them. i know whipple used to but ive heard they were a bit of a flop. like say if kenne bell or magnison designed a lysholm twin screw supercharger for our cars that would be amazing! or even make a better roots blower doesnt matter, just be original and not make us use the dumb eaton M90s lol a centrifugal supercharger like vortechs design would be the best but i dont see how one could ever fit in a front engine front wheel drive car with a tranverse drive line i can barely fit my hand in by the engine to change the belts.

Reviving an old thread. I'm in Edmonton and looking for a tuner/garage to tune a code out on my 2005 Base GP.

Getting the P0420 code ever since fitting a ZZP cat & resonator. I have an OBD-II scanner attached and just keep erasing the code when the CEL appears, but it's a PITA!

Anyone know of a place that will do this in Edmonton?
