Hi guys......I was getting code c0245(wheel sensor frequency malfunction) and code c0035(left front speed sensor circuit malfunction) for some time now on my 2005 GP so I assumed it was a bad front hub.....so I purchased 2 skf hubs and installed them just yesterday , but still getting the exact same 2 codes. I'm assuming its a wiring issue somewhere any ideas where to start or a way to test my abs connections ? Does the abs harness unplug so I could replace that...any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can peel back the loom and look for broken wires. I just had to cut a lot of wire from mine and add new wire to realize my rear one has a break someplace.

You can check each wheel at the EBTCM connector with a DMM if you have one set it to read like 2k ohmns. If one reads 0 its usually broken wires. You can have someone look at the DMM while you jiggle the harness and see if the resistance jumps which would give an area where the wires are broken.

    Its in this area.

    Here it is

These are the pins for each wheel i labeled
EDIT EDIT: I guess i have it on my tablet here is it.

Thank you......i'll have a look. Before you fixed the wire was the abs/tc light on all the time or just periodically?

It started periodically where it would come on after a bump then when i restarted the car the light would be off and my abs would engage at low speed braking. Then it stayed on full time once the wire completely broke.

Before I changed the front hubs the light would come on as soon as the car moved.....now after new hubs it will come on after a short period of driving(sometimes as soon as the car moves, but not every time anymore)....sometimes the TC light will flash on then off then after about 10 seconds the abs and tc will come on and stay on until i shut the car off.

Maybe the abs pumps ****ting out. First you have to test and look at the wires to make sure none are broken. Also the terminals on the abs plugs are know to get corroded over time. clean those up too

Will do....another thing I noticed today is that when u apply the brakes very slowly the the brakes react as if the abs is engaged.

Sounds like broken wires, exactly what mine did before it finally completely broke the wire. Its probably broken on the bit that runs along thr LCA, I suggest fixing it soon as possible as to stop the wiring from getting destroyed. I cut 2 or 3 feet of mine and still had dry looking wire but i cleaned it with some steel wool and soldered it and it held enough resistance to hopefully make the ABS module happy about 1087 ohmns the others had about 1089-1092. I wont know till i fix my other problem unfortunately.

I got to test them with my meter ...funny thing is i'm getting the same reading on the good side as I am on the bad side. I did open up the loom to get at the wires, but on mine after you open up the loom there is a hard plastic covering over the wires as well. ..... this plastic covering was broke at one place about 3 inches from the plug(right at a bend) where you could see the 2 wires. Right where the plastic was broke one wire looked like the bend in it made it quite weak so i cut off about an inch on both sides and soldered it together. I drove home( about 15km) and so far no lights ...........fingers crossed but i'm almost expecting to see them soon lol.

Usually where the hard plastic breaks is where the wires are broken. Least mine was. Hope it lasts for ya.

That was the fix for the abs/tc light...hasn't come on again....6 days! I do however believe that one of the hubs are defective as on occasion when i'm at a stop and start to move I get a fairly loud noise with a vibration which lasts for about 10 feet. And of course I ordered them from rock auto not a local parts store

I'll see how much it will cost to ship it back...if it's outrageous i'll probably just buy another ...if so don't know if i'll go skf again .

I would expect maybe 10-20 to ship but i have no idea how shipping costs work then the turn around time is a week or 2 or more probably which would suck. I just know they have decent weight to them.

Timkin and Moog are other good trusted brands.

Me personally, would pay the extra 10 - 15 and get one local for the fact it would be simplier to return.

Yeah problem is the part stores around here carry mostly garbage(for a lot more as well) I asked for timkin or skf and they said they don't carry them...that's why I went to rock auto. got the skf for 110 with 3 yr warn and expected life of 100,000 miles...I'd gladly pay the extra 20 dollars if I could get them here...you're in the states so prolly a bit easier for you to get them.

Ahh did not know you were not in the US. You in Canada Land?

You guys seems to get screwed on parts and prices. SKF is a good brand tho, you might just got unlucky,
