It's a 98 GT coupe my daughter drives that needs suspension work. A mechanic told her it needs tie rod ends and hub bearings up front but didn/t say anything about the rear that has way too much negative camber. Is that a trailing arm issue? Hopefully these pics give an idea of what I have.

    Thanks.

I don't think a trailing arm would cause that type of issue.

You took both of those pictures with your head & camera tilted to one side by quite a bit. Take some pictures that are level with the actual ground. It honestly doesn't seem like there is an issue. But I can't really tell.

Usually rear springs sag over time and you get more camber.

New springs would be the solution, but if under 2* of camber, I wouldn't worry about it.

if you dont want to fix the springs a set of camber bolts or slotting the top hole on the strut might get you where you want to be.

but the springs are the problem.

You can also get a little bit out of where the strut bolts to the hub spindle, there's a little bit of slop but not much.

I would agree, the car is on a hill with more weight on the rear, the tires are tucking the wheel wells. That doesn't happen with stock ride height.
Looks like a Honda with cut springs.

    Get some Olds Intrigue springs.

    That'll fix it.

Here's some pics in the garage with the camera on a tripod. Maybe not much better. Once I get the wheels off is there anything I should see if the springs are gone, or anything else I should be looking for? I'll replace the springs and maybe the camber bolt.

    bluegtp91, what's the difference?

    Thanks!

Oh wow look at that, he took pics on a tripod and their is STILL something wrong....

OP, the advice you've been given (other than the different pictures guy) is sound. Get new springs.
