So when I'm driving I'm hearing a humming noise coming from what sounds like the drivers front. Not as much when I'm accelerating but when I let off the gas. I had both CV's replaced roughly a year ago and I looked at them both and the boots looked good, no play in them that I could tell. Nothing is touching the tires. Transmission shifts great and quick and doesn't seem to be louder faster I go. Any ideas what could be making the sound?

hubs hum when bad, tend to not hum when you turn, like changing lanes type turning.

jack up the side you think it is, then push and pull the tire from 12 to 6 your feeling for some play.

The tires are roughly 7 months old possibly and pads are two years old would be my guestimation but when I'm braking I hear it still. I'd imagine it's the hubs even though i replaced that two or 3 years ago

the wbody hubs aren't that great and if you get an off-brand and not high quality wheel hub they'll go bad more quickly than the better named brands.
