Had Abs lights. Scanned for code. Left front open or shorted. Checked wire loom on car side, 4v +/- = OK. Checked hub, found frayed wires. Replaced hub. Still had same ABS code C1232. Check resistance at new hub = 1000 +/- + OK. Got same voltage @ loom = OK. Cut plug off old hub and stripped wires back, plugged into loom, NO VOLTAGE !! Apparently while I was checking the loom by inserting test leads and wiggling the wires to find a break, my test leads were too fat and bent the tabs inside the loom plug end . So I bent them back with a small pick and WHALAH.... No ABS lights. It sucks when testing causes a problem you didn't have before. Lesson learned= don't manhandle tiny electrical connections. I hope this helps someone else .

Yup..stick a piece of wire into each and use your multimeter leads that have alligator clips on them.. If you don't have a set.. buy or make a set. You'll thank yourself for doing so
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

What did me in was trying to hold the multimeter leads in the loom plug with one hand, and "massaging" the loom with the other, all while keeping an eye on the display. I thought I found a bad spot a couple times, but it was just me letting the leads slip out. Forcing stuff like that doesn't pay off. I'll find something smaller to use with extensions next time.
