Well first off you should definately go out and buy a new head unit. Then go from there.

If you really wanna keep the stocker, you'll need an in-line converter to get your signal, then you've got everything you need. The problem with that is...if you wanna turn the bass up you will have to bring the bass up in the mids as well, and it will distort and blow the rest of your speakers.

Some amps have it so you can adjust the bass and everything right on the amp.

As with the the other thing do you always want your subs come on or do you want them on a switch to turn them on and off.

There are only 2 sizes.. single din and double din. Double din will require some modification to the dash.

Every amp these days do, but if you're running of the stock radio, the only way to turn the bass up on the subs is to turn up the bass on the deck. Which will bring the bass up on all of the speakers. Unless you have a remote bass knob.

Yup, you'll be much happier with that than the stocker. You'll just need a mounting kit and wire harness.

Its just a basic mounting kit that you can get anywhere. You probably have the digital climate control, they stopped using those in 2001. And here is the write-up to change the color of the DIC http://www.grandprixforums.net/dic-c...kes-34472.html
