Hey everyone had this problem since ive had the car and its basically that if I click either the driver or passanger heated seat button the lights blink red once niether of them work checked the fuse and it was fine anything else that would cause both not to work I can't imagine both the heating elements in the seat being toast im assuming some type of module? If there even is one

You are correct, there is a module, but I would start by checking the thermistor and the seat elements. It's possible to fix or replace both. Diagrams are on AutoZone's site, but I'll have to draw out some instructions for you when I can. Finals coming up so I'm under the gun!

What year is the car? If it's pre-04 there is a module that looks like a relay under each seat and they can go bad. I haven't had much experience with the 04+ likely they are more dash module controlled. The 04+ elements also seem to be much better than the older ones.

I'm thinking since you say it blinks once that's it's 04+.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

you are correct it is a 2004 GTP and heading to the junkyard today any cheap parts i can pick up there and test out to see if they are the culprit or not? maybe body control module because I've always had a problem of all my gauges just randomly shutting off it used to happen on my drive to school but now it only happens on startup and only goes away if I turn off the car give it a sec then turn it back on. I've heard this could be bcm but wasn't worth the hundreds of dollars to fix since its one of those things you just deal with car runs perfectly though or let me know any other parts I know my junkyard has a cheap warranty you pay up front for electronic parts so testing these parts wont be expensive
