I just put a new starter on, and when I try to start the car it just clicks. I verified the battery is good and everything is hooked up. Not really sure what to do.

where do you hear the click from? inside the dash? if so thats the sound of a bad starter. you can try to jump it with a screw driver see if it will crank it over.

you got all the wires back on right? small wire needs to be on the small stud, pos cable and the other wire with a fat eyelet go on the fat stud that the pos cable goes to.

The starter itself is clicking. I'll double check my wiring real quick.

makes sure the battery terminals are clean and tight too. bad ground can cause this as well.

they put two small studs on the v8 starter? might have the small wire on the wrong stud?

Well I unhooked the starter wires and hooked em back up and its working now. I'm not sure what the issue was exactly.

odd but thats good. maybe a wire eyelet was dirty and it cleaned its self when you took it back off or back on?
