I was installing the E85 retrofit kit on my 2008 GXP, and not knowing which plug was which, disconnected the tcm plug. I pulled it apart some until I realized it wasn't the right plug, so I put it back together and reconnected it, and finished the job correctly.

The problem is when I put the car in forward gear, it moves forward real slow, reverse is fine.

I'm looking for obvious things to you guys that may not be so obvious to me to check.

I did try disconnecting and reconnecting the connectors.

Am I wrong in assuming that typically you need heavier flow injectors going to E85?

Yeah factory injectors aren't going to be enough.

As far the transmission. Have you unhooked the battery and let it sit for a bit?

I was trying to decide if that would help, going to try it tomorrow after the thunderstorm stops.

I don't plan on running straight E85 all the time, but no they will not be enough. the stuff I have now is like E75, maybe E80 at the most.

the good news is that the ethanol content sensor does work.

5% difference plus 7000 feet elevation will make the injectors able to handle the load just fine.

My GXP did 330/330 on E85 with bolt-ons.

    Stock injectors and pump.

    Had plenty of headroom.

You don't need any upgrades at all considering the LS4 doesn't make sh1t for power.
