Thanks. I've finally been able to put some miles on it, and its definitely a lot of fun. It pulls really good for a mail order tune.

It's time for the engine to come out again for some more work. New oil pump, lifters, and trunion kit. The delphi ls7 lifters I have now tend to make noise after driving for about 30 minutes.

The engine is ready to come out, only held in by the engine mounts now. Just waiting for parts to come in.

I got the engine out earlier this week, and most of the parts are coming in today. I should be able to get most everything done this weekend.

Nice work. What brackets are you using to attach the pulling chains to?

I'm using a spare engine dog bone mount bracket from my old engine and the black bracket that the heater hose lines bolt to.

I got the new oil pump installed last night. Just about ready to start putting everything back in the car.

I also bought this little clamp for the pick-up tube, so that its bolted down on both sides.

I highly recommend this piece if your going to be taking the pan off for anything.

I went with the Melling M295. I don't have anything to monitor pressure yet, but I would like to get a oil pressure gauge.

Well the engine is back in, and just about all hooked back up. I'm hoping this will be the last time I have to pull it for another year or two.

Still have to get the new 3" exhaust mounted, and get a proper dyno tune.

It's still the stock exhaust from the down pipe to the mufflers. And the mufflers are dynomax. I have a 3" mandrel bent exhaust kit with new borla mufflers but haven't had the time to get it installed.

Oh I thought that was the mandrel bent system. I am considering it as well although I have read fitment is not great. Post back some pics once you get that installed if you can. Great job so far, keep up the good work.
