Ok well it doesn't run awful, idles great and under normal driving conditions all is good. But when I accelerate hard, it misfires and runs awful. When I pulled out the plugs it had the auto lite 104s, I put it some decent ngk plugs but I know the supercharger is stock. So my question is what kind of mods could have been done to this car that won't let it run right on the plugs I put in? The gap is correct, any thoughts? Thanks.

A plug may be cracked or a wire is causing the issue, but it's hard to just guess at it.

I was just saying maybe you bumped a vacuum line wrestling with the plugs.
    Did you reuse the wires?

I'll take a look at the vacuum line, I did reuse the wires but it just seemed so odd that it did that right after I changed them. I know autolite 104s are the go to plug on these motors so I thought maybe if it was chipped or something like that.

I bet you cracked #6 plug on install. Happened to me twice because that damn o2 sensor causes a bad angle.

your wires are dead, change them. i bet one or more pulled apart inside the boot end. cheap parts store wires work just fine too. no need to go nuts on wires.

If were guessing I call plug wire going bad. They pull off hard when they have been on long time.

Does it make a ticking kind of noise too? I bet its wires too. You will hear them arcing against your manifolds and such and it will fall on power like someone just pulled a plug wire on ya.

Thanks for all the help guys, I'm on my way to pick up plug wires now. Hopefully that's the trick. Traded a 94 firebird formula with 150,000 miles for this 02 gtp with 98,000 miles. I'm liking it so far.

your liking fwd? ok, thats a first lol only thing in your favor is the gp is newer. they be peppy cars, but lack the potential of a rwd car.

get them cheap lifetime replacement store brand wires, its what most of use use.

if you ask me these cars suck in snow pretty bad. but i got into my regal after driving full size 4x4 gm trucks for twn years and i snow plowed, so im kinda used to sticking to the ground and being able to move, if not for snow tires it would sit every storm.
