wtf? that engine harness is honestly the size of my thumb...im doing a headgasket job on a 90 chevy truck in my class right now lol. now the 350's in the vandura are hard! you gotta take radiator support and grill and everything out and yank it out the front.

It was a cluster phuk They left the top trans bolts in and had it under load of the engine hoist triing to take off the engine mounts and then they couldnt figure out how to move it to the yard once it was out cause the trans was moving cause they didnt just pull them together like I told them to do It was bad I pulled one out of a 90 in my front yard in an hour with zero exp

Wow... Had one outta an 85 F-body. Dropped the drive-shaft, dropped the tranny (manual so it wasn't bad and there were three of us), disconnect the few things actually hooked up to the engine, pop distributer cap, pull the engine. Done.

I don't see how this is difficult by any means. Just need the proper tools.

I realize keeping the tranny attached is easier, but for since it was a manual is wasn't that bad.

Hey, when you motor/trans swap enough times, you get the right to brag.
