    What's the best way to remove the crank seal? Is it as primitive as bashing it in like the trans-axle seal? Or do I need a special tool?

    Thanks for the recommendations guys. With the front cover off I’m going to try at pop it out, hitting it from the back.

    Looks like the ZZP extra thick gasket turned into mush. On a different forum, James said he uses an OEM gasket sandwiched with a FelPro gasket to get that extra thick clearance needed for the double-roller setup. What have guys been using other than the ZZP extra thick gasket? The replacement gasket I bought is the very same ZZP gasket, at it looks janky right out of the box. I will post up some pics later today.
