Been a while it seems since I've posted here...but I figured this is such a random issue and I haven't been able to get it to happen again so I'm not going to bother dropping the car off at the shop if it is this random/unpredictable.

Went to move the car in the driveway yesterday to make room to bring trash & recycling bin to the back (I just had to back up a bit then forward and inch closer to one side, not a whole lot of movement).
When I started the car and was going to put it in reverse, I accidentally shifted to neutral but corrected myself immediately (hand slipped/no big deal) and as I was starting to let it roll back I heard the classic module beeping that would come before all the ABS module errors I used to get before having the module repaired. (the terror set in)
Apparently traction control and stability control had magically shut off (which used to happen with bad ABS module) and the DIC gave me the usual "service traction control system / service stability control system" messages - BUT - as it gives me those two errors if I can call them that, the DIC also warns me that I have low fuel....and I look at the fuel gauge and it's pegged at empty. Which I know very well is NOT true as I recently filled the tank and it should still be nearly full, not even 3/4 full but nearly full. I literally never drive my car even to 1/4 a tank anymore and usually fill up once it gets to half. So the Pumpkin is lying on that part for sure.

What I don't understand is why I got some sort of errors with two completely different areas. I shut the engine off after moving the car as I needed, and came back about 5 min later to see if it would happen again and of course it's acting like nothing ever happened. (that was yesterday)
I just moved my car to a different spot in the driveway because we are going to have fence work done and my car was in the way - and again nothing odd happened. I thought maybe the first time when my hand slipped when shifting to reverse, I might have accidentally hit the TC button behind the shifter, so I thought maybe it had to do with that... So I tried disabling/enabling TC several times earlier but the button doesn't do ANYTHING and I know it used to work. It does not disable my trac control anymore (unless it is just the dash light and DIC are not letting me know I disabled/enabled it, but I doubt that).

What on earth is going on??
I really thought my GP was coming down with the same issue our poor Bonnie has... the Bonneville has had for a long time some sort of issue with the fuel pump (you can constantly hear what sounds like compressor drawing air every now and then while the car is idling, would come and go) and when you initially start the car, you get a correct fuel reading on the gauge (though it takes time for the gauge to slowly find its place) but as soon as you put the car in gear and get moving, the gauge would get pegged to E or F and stay there while driving... That's our N/A Bonneville though...and so far my GP has just once randomly lied about fuel level and is now pretending to be a good boy.

I'm at a loss here, lol.
