I am replacing the air intake manifold gaskets on a 3800 Series 2 SC and wondering the proper RTV to use with the new gaskets in the 4 corners. I was going to use Permatex Ultra Copper but not sure on this application. Thoughts?

Ultra copper is the only tube that was ever in my toolbox. It'll work for everything and does a great job. Used it 100's of times on LIM's.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

for the lim you could use any type really. some kits come with a small tube, and its black, ive used it, then used orange, and red.

nice part of the copper rtv is you can use it to seal exhaust leaks at band clamps on your headers.

You can use about any RTV but ultra black is my preference since it's the most oil resistant.
