yeah definitely have a vac leak car went into low engine power mode 20 times today in traffic and sometimes sounds like a squirrel when idling. looks like its hitting 900+ rpm and that's triggering the low engine power mode ill be picking up that pump from harbor freight and some fat cigars and then finding this leak

Alright everyone great news vac leak was a ****ty jb weld I did to block off the exhaust gas port cant remember what it's ended up grabing a plug at menards and using some liquid nail and it sealed it right up also figured out my intercooler pump is working great and I had just the right amount of fluid to properly fill the system in letting the rubber cemet fully dry before I run the car but all should be well had to cut a hole in the fuse box cover as it was clashing with my add a fuse but that was probably the biggest problem of the day crazy I was this close and thinking of giving up couldn't have done it without you guys👍👍👍

wiggle the plug, if it comes to life. get back to it, and solder the wires right to the tabs on the pump. the plug is a known POS.

wiggled the connector never turned on and relay is clicking on and off like it should. this will be the last thing I ever buy used lol everyone is selling me broken parts and its litteraly cost me more time and money then if I just bought new and of course this guy got it from someone else and sold it so it'll be a huge hassle getting refunded for the stuff. so I might just cut my losses and get a new pump from zzp

Yea I know lol ive been driving it without the pump but I just took out the pump and found this happened to the pig tail after maybe 20 mins combined of this this being on most of it being short 30 sec intervals whats the issue here? This is a brand new pigtail and its fried suprised a fire didnt happen and also seems that it melted some of the 14 gauge wire I'm assuming this means bad pump but I cant imagine it would completly maul this thing in 20 mins on the pump running I did drive the car around for a week though but the pump was obviously dead so I assume it wouldnt have melted throughout the week?Shared album - Thomas Zerilli - Google Photos

i think you need to double check the relay set up. dotn think the pump would melt the wires up like that.

run 12 volts off the battery right to the pump, see if it comes to life.

something dont seem right. mines been perfect for 3 years now. never had a melt down. only issue was the plug causing the pump to turn off. so i soldered the wires right to the pump.

Old pump was also made in 2010 if that makes it not working sound more believable😭
