Had some bad luck and damaged my old pcm(dumbbell crushed it while i had it out in the house smh i felt so irresponsible&#128557. Any way i order another cantune pcm from zzp and i selected the evap delete this time around. Ive read what many of you guys have done in a bunch of older threads when it comes to deleting the evap system, but mostly all of those were solutions for 97s 02s 03s etc. I Havent read any clear answers for how 2004s should go about deleting or disabling the evap system.

I would like to keep the vapors venting into the blower if i can so im asking which component has to be unplugged to keep the system open at all times? The canister by the fuel filler or the purge valve connected to the SC?

If there are better safe solutions, i would like to learn how to do those as well.
    Thanks yall

ive had both egr and evap codes disabled but I kept the little black plastic piece that goes into the supercharger and removed the piece that connects from the rear exhaust to the hole right below the throttle body into the LIM I believe. I have a 2004 as well I can take pictures if needed to understand. If I remember right the part I deleted is the evap while the little black plastic bit is egr. and personally I wouldn't want the vapor going back in idk if the inside of your blower looks like mine but its pure black because it had vapors going to it for 125k miles id have to only way to clean it now would be run meth haha

It almost sounds like your decribing the egr but are you saying that the evap system also leaves a coating in the sc and lim too???? If so that would solve this other mystery for me because i was run catch can setup and the lil s**t was still allowing some vapors pass through its filter and coating sc the IC core and lim smh. I took it off and been running a breather tank instead. I had tthe pcv baffled up pretty good never thought the purge valve would added to all that grossness.

I would definitely appreciate pics!!!! When ever ya get a chance.
Its too bad there isn't a venting gas cap or something for our cars

I may have them backwards sorry for the confusion and only one causes carbon in the intake I believe bill is right

EGR aka Exhaust gas recirculation is the one that dumps in below the throttle body and leaves gunk in the intake. Evap is just vapor and not typically an issue.
