I've been wanting to do a carbon cleaning with water (possibly steam) but was deterred by the supercharger ('05 GTP). I've used Seafoam, but I've had good results just using water (on other vehicles). I recall, the GTP did not like to have the brake booster vacuum line disconnected or throttle body disconnected from the intake box.

I probably should freshen up vacuum lines too.

    Comments?

Well, I did it, and it really runs smoother. Since making my vacuum restricter, it will be much easier to do regularly.

The vacuum restricter is a cap that I put a small tube through so it can very uncontrollably sip water out of a container. It works well, and I did a 2-cup cleaning.

water/methanol didn't turn my supercharger green, just ate the coating.

Apparently it does (the combustion chamber).

I might have to use Seafoam to get the intake valves.
