Was out on a drive tonight and did a wot pull up to about 90 and this code popped up as pending. Fuel pump is about a year old. The only thing I have changed recently is I upgraded to 60# injectors and am still dialing in the tune. Currently my fuel trims are still pretty off -10 to 0 ltft. I've been worried I'm maxing out my current pump as I'm on a 3.4 e85 setup and the pump I have is a Delphi that is for a gt which when researched seems to flow less then the supercharged models.

I have a caspers one sitting in my room waiting to be installed im just planning on getting a better pump, switching the connector to the 4 flat style and doing the install together. Currently it's all stock wiring. No alt booster, or alt rewire or anything like that either.

Hmmmm, ok. For that code to trip, it needs to meet the improper voltage specs for 30 seconds...which leads me to believe there is something else going on.

Well it's nice you know why it actually sets. Online it pretty much just says your pcm, fuel pump, or wiring is messed up. What I wasn't sure off is if this code would set if maybe i was maxing out the pump. I've had a kr problem but it's only ever happened in the very top of 2nd or 3rd making me think maybe it's a fueling thing. I should probably be watching my wideband when this happens but I'm always to busy watching the road during wot pulls.

you got that fat plug on the front of the engine from the coil harness/ cam harness. mine got dirty i guess and was causing the fuel pump to quit. i would get up to 3 codes, 3x signal, crank and something else from it.

cleaned that plug added some grease and aint had a issue since. its a free repair at least if thats not it.

Are you talking about the icm plug? Unrelated I've been getting a p0300 code on long highway trips. Only highway though, I don't notice these supposed misfires either. Might try changing out the icm since I have a spare.

Ok I think I know what your talking about. From memory I think there's two rows of four wires to it?

Ok that's the one I was thinking of. I'll try to clean it out. I know it's really dirty. Everything in the stupid injector valley is dirty

its a weather tight plug, but that dont mean the pins cant get tarnished over time, if you got electrical parts cleaner, spray it down on both sides, then work the plug off and on a bunch of times, then di-electrical grease and work the plug off and on a few more times.

Ya I'll be installing the rewire probably next week. So far the code is still pending and I've gone on about 3 "trips" so it'll either set the light or go away pretty soon here. My car has a habit of popping codes one time and then they disapear never to be seen again.

The thicker two wires are for pump power. The other wires are for fuel level sender. Do you hear the pump prime when you turn the key on/engine off?
