'04 GP with 259k on it. I've been having an intermittent issue that I think I have narrowed down. There have been a handful of times, the car would crank and not start right away. I replaced the battery terminals (corrosion) and refreshed the body ground as well as adding another ground to see if that was a potential problem. Recently when it does start it will idle low and almost stall, but then rev-up and come back to life. Most recently I filled up the gas tank and then cranked a couple of times with no start. Finally, I was able to get it going. I've replaced the Vent Valve near the gas cap behind the left rear tire about 3 years ago. I also replaced the Purge Valve (upper intake) as I broke it during a LIM replacement about a year ago.

So the typical culprits of a gas vapor issue, for the most part, have been eliminated and I'm thinking I just may have a fuel pump on the way out, but I wanted to see if it could be linked to any other issues or valves that could present such symptoms, thanks.

Seems every one 04+ that I work on does that. You can check the purge solenoid by ensuring air will not flow through it in the normal direction. I usually just check with my mouth, suck air from the engine side. Nothing should pass in that direction.

Usually a throttle body cleaning solves that issue though, and check the Mass Air Flow sensor while you're there. The little sensors should look pretty clean.
