Purchased new in Nov 02 and have put 185,000 miles on her. Within the past 50,000 have replaced plugs, wires and one coil pack. Am now have trouble cranking her and she does not want to idle. At a stop sign or red light she will sometimes die. Sometimes at a stop with the brake applied she will want to surge forward and then die. No codes appear. Have cleaned throttle body and TPS. From time to time will add a bottle of Sea Form to a new tank of gas. She will run all day long out on the interstate at 70 MPH like she was brand new. Thanks in advance for your recommendations. Bill

Check for vacuum leaks. Have you changed the air filter and fuel filter?

Both filters have been replaced recently. No obvious vacuum leaks have been found and several friends along with myself have looked.

Could be a bad fuel pressure regulator. Pull the small vac. line off of it (with the motor NOT running) and see if there is fuel in that line anywhere. If it's wet, replace the regulator. Barring that you may need to check the fuel pressure itself with a gauge. Should be around 40psi at idle IIRC.
