Ok, i finally got around to doing my elbows on my 100,000 2001 GT. Everything is going good until the first elbow just under the intake breaks apart...and the rest of it is not in the opening. The other 3 spots i had to pry out the broken ends of the elbows. Should i worry about the piece inside? I hadn't planned on doing the LIM or UIM gaskets yet.

    THANKS!!

ive heard of this and people just let it go. you might be able to fish it out with some wire, but thats gonna be a task of luck, no skill needed there. you either get lucky or dont when fishing lol

When something like that happens I usually grab my trusty coat hanger and put a dab of RTV on the end of it then fish it through. Usually will pick up small pieces no problem.
