Is that something that an obd2 scanner will pull or am i going to need to take it to my tuner or a trans shop? I do have a hit or miss tps sensor out of range on the scan guage. Not sure what one to buy to replace it. I run a northstar throttle body.

So i have had the car parked the last few days drive my jeep and took it for a drive to see if the issue was still present and drove about a mile and it is completely gone now. No forward no reverse. Just park and now the trans fluid has a burt smell to it. Is it done for or could it be a sensor? Havent taken it anywhere yet. Dont really wanna get raped by a trans shop

Ok so my 05 GP has been acting up more frequently. It used to be once every couple months when I would be at a light or stop sign and hit the gas moderately to make a turn or something the car wouldn't move for a second and it would like shudder/slip and not go anywhere but then would grab and that would be the end of that. The trans shifts great otherwise just like the day I got it. She has new Dex VI and filter from about 2k miles ago. No signs of any damage in the bottom of pan just a light coating of super fine metal stuck to the magnet. No black junk or pieces of anything. There is 135k on the car. Could this be a torque converter issue since it is from a stop and seems as if it's not engaging initially but once moving everything is fine. Temps on a hot day will reach up to 220. Today after an hour on the turnpike I was at 176 but that's at 50 degrees outside. Anyone have any ideas or insight? Hope to get this sorted out before the snow flies.

Hello folks, let me apologize if this is in the wrong place. I have a 2003 Grand prix GT 3.8L with a bad trans. I need to know what years will swap in with out issues. I did read that the electronics were changed in 2003 but I'm not sure if that matters. Also open to ideas on other GM cars with same trans.. I'm sure this was probably covered in here somewhere but I couldn't find it. Thanks in advance

I?ve an 06 GXP with It?s 2nd Trans and it was put in about 4 yrs ago(I?ve had Legal Issues and was Not Around until about a Year ago) and the ?NEW? trans has less than 25k on it. I?ve Noticed that the ?New Rebuilt? is NOT a 4t65e HD. It?s just a Standard 4t65e?Would THAT be a Major issue at this point? I LOVE my car, and Since the ?New? trans I Baby the **** out of it! ONLY Standing on it When NECESSARY! I Could use some Advice as to whether I Jump up and Down the MF Shop that did the work or not? Thanks Y?all
