Trying to get my 00 GTP back on the road. Went down last year. Found a wrecked
04 style GTP with the trans still there at the yard. Can it be used in my 2000?
Or am I only to use the 98-03?

It's not a direct swap and go, the 2003+ transmission are a little different on some electronics but I forget all the details.

I know for sure that a 1999-2002 transmission is a direct swap and go.

The valve body, electronics etc are different. I'd stick to a 97-02 if you can.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
